Tesla lost $140M on Bitcoin investments last year.  The electric vehicle maker lost $204M on it overall but gained $64M of it back through trading. CEO Elon Musk said that Tesla might accept Bitcoin as payment and poured $1.5B into the cryptocurrency.  Tesla has sold its Bitcoin holdings since then due to uncertainty in the markets.  The carmaker now holds about $184M of Bitcoin. In November 2021, Bitcoin soared to nearly $70,000 before losing two-thirds of its value during the crypto winter.
