12-year-old Benjamin Mehanović received a scholarship on Friday to attend the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).   The award recognized his efforts to support victims of the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria last month. Mehanović raised 1,583 convertible marks ($870), the local currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by selling tea in the country's capital city of Sarajevo.  He donated the money to help support the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6. The IUS recognized his efforts by providing him with a full scholarship to study at the university when he becomes eligible. "Benjamin has already become a part of the IUS family and he proves that one person can change the world,” said Ahmet Yıldırım, rector of the IUS.
