The Barcelona City Council and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center have presented the first results of a collaborative smart platform called a Digital Twin.
The platform allows visualization of the possibility of locally implementing the 15-minute city concept.
- This proof of concept is a starting point for more detailed analyses.

digital twin has made it possible to visualize the coverage within a
10-minute walk of the metro stops, libraries, electric charging points,
Bicing stations, health facilities, and distribution of green spaces in
the city.
- This project aims to understand the urban phenomenon
via data analysis, the evaluation of resources, and the accessibility of
services.
- Digital Twins will help the Barcelona City Council make the best decisions on improving the citizens' quality of life.
