Guinness St. Patrick's Day campaign

 

Guinness is launching a new competition for its St. Patrick's Day promotion.

 The competition will encourage customers to submit video toasts, with the top two winners in each state receiving cash rewards. 

  • The campaign will include in-person events in major U.S. cities like Boston, Georgia, and Baltimore, as well as the digital content element. 
  • Joe Montana and Chef Kwame Onwuachi will also participate in the campaign through digital films and TV ads. 
  • Guinness is also using the campaign to promote its alcohol-free beer, Guinness o, launched last year. 
  • Guinness now joins Jameson as an alcohol brand trying to capitalize on St. Patrick's Day.
