Insurance technology company Vertafore named Gareth Walter as its chief revenue officer (CRO).  Walter has over a decade of sales leadership experience and a track record of building and scaling sales teams.  At Vertafore, Walter will focus on driving growth by helping its customers through their digital transformation journeys and simplifying key processes.  Walter was the founding member of Salesforce's financial services vertical and scaled it quickly through rapid expansion.  He also transformed Salesforce's healthcare life sciences vertical, which was seeing negative growth, into a standout performer by focusing on culture binding and recruiting top talent.  Vertafore CEO Amy Zupon said Walter has a knack for integrating transformative new technologies into industry-specific solutions to deliver real value.
