New Jersey YouTube personality Bill Omar Carrasquillo -- better known as "Omi in a Hellcat" -- was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in prison on Tuesday after pleading guilty to a cable TV piracy scheme. 

 Carrasquillo was also ordered to forfeit $30 million in assets, including nearly $6 million in cash and a number of exotic cars.

  • Carrasquillo has more than 800,000 followers on his YouTube channel, where he flaunted his lavish lifestyle and numerous luxury goods.
  • The 36-year-old admitted to illegally streaming content stolen from cable boxes to paying online subscribers via his "Gears TV" platform.
  • Charges included conspiracy, copyright infringement, money laundering, fraud, and tax evasion.
