Midjourney has released version 5 of its popular AI text-to-image creator.
The latest model is now rolling out to Midjourney's paying customer base, offering improvements over the previous image generator.
For example, Midjourney V5 is better at generating realistic-looking hands, displaying the appropriate number of fingers, as well as eyes and faces.
- On its website, Midjourney said it also shows improved "efficiency, coherency, and quality" over prior versions of the model.
- Midjourney's subscription is available on Discord.
Midjourney launched to the public in beta mode last August. Version 4 came out in November.
- According to Vice, Midjourney is especially good at producing various art styles and fantasy and sci-fi environments that resemble concept art in gaming.
