Momofuku Goods raised $17.5M in a Series A funding round.
The consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand specializes in providing branded pantry items.
The funding round was led by growth equity firm Siddhi Capital, which has previously invested in plant-based milk brand Ripple and Aura Bora sparkling water.
- Momofuku Goods was spun off from Momofuku restaurants in 2020 and has since developed a successful D2C sales channel.
- The CPG brand also sells its products through retailers such as Whole Foods but aims to expand its wholesale operations with partners like Albertsons and Kroger.
- Momofuku Goods plans to use its new capital to increase its workforce and boost its marketing efforts.
