Salesforce COO says more layoffs expected

 

According to Bloomberg, Salesforce COO Brian Millham said the company is exploring another round of layoffs.  In January, Salesforce laid off around 10% of its staff, affecting roughly 7,000 employees. Millham said in an interview that the company would restructure and reshape to drive efficiencies and improve profitability.  Bain & Co., which the company hired to help it restructure, is yet to deliver its final recommendations.  Millham has assumed some of former co=CEO Bret Taylor's customer-facing responsibilities, including appearing on earnings calls.  Earlier this week, Salesforce and Elliott Investment Management issued a joint statement that the latter would not go ahead with its planned director nominations.
