Unyoked raises €18M

 

Australian-based nature hospitality startup Unyoked raised €18M.  Investors include SURPLUS Equity Partners, a German-based investment and asset management firm. Unyoked offers users off-grid nature experiences, usually within 2 hours of any major city. The company’s mission aims to make nature and the outdoors more accessible by offering guests easy ways to help relieve stress. The company, which has over 100 off-grid locations in Australia and New Zealand, will use the new funding to expand to most of Europe, including the U.K., Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Since its founding in 2016, the company has raised a total of €18M.
