Walmart expands CTV offerings

 


A report from Style, a visual AI platform, shows that 84% of customers searching for fashion products use mobile devices, with 81% of all mobile fashion transactions completed. 

Despite this, the report found that when fashion products were purchased on computers, the sales were 37% larger than on mobile. 

The largest discrepancy between desktop and mobile sales was for jewelry, where desktop sales were 39% larger on average. 

  • Those on desktops also spent 20% more time on websites and visited 16% more pages on a site. 
  • 69% of jewelry and 43% of home decor transactions were made on mobile devices. 
  • The report found that Gen Z is moving towards a goth style, with corset sales up 26%, laser-cut apparel up 159%, flat chunky shoes up 161%, and block heels up 115%.
