Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a new AI accelerator that will support generative AI startups. The 10-week program will supply up to $300,000 each in AWS credits and other resources to 10 early-stage startups in the space.
- To
benefit fully from the program, Amazon says startups already have
developed a minimal viable product that would use a cloud-native
architecture on AWS.
- Companies already developing on AWS will get the most benefit from the cloud unit's solutions architect team, it said.
- As
a hybrid program, the accelerator will involve both remote
communications and in-person events at the start and end of the program,
including a Demo Day for investors in San Francisco.
- AWS does
not invest in startups. Amazon says it will offer AWS credits along with
access to AI models, customized go-to-market advice, machine learning
stack optimization, and industry networking.
- Startups can apply for the AWS Generative AI Accelerator through April 17, 2023.
