Uses: TikTok's high engagement is due to its many use cases. 74% of users use it as their primary search engine, with 28% making over 100 searches per month. 

Popularity: Despite its high engagement rate, TikTok is the third most popular social media app in the demographic when measured by the percentage of users. It trails both YouTube and Instagram.
