Gaming-focused tech giant Razer has launched a Web3 fund dubbed zVentures Web3 Incubator (ZW3I) to back blockchain-based game projects. 

 The fund will focus on early-stage Web3 gaming startups with an established team and a clear roadmap. 

  • ZW3I will also prioritize the projects that aim to enhance the gamer experience. 
  • The firms backed by the fund will be able to access Razer's marketing and partnership resources. 
  • ZW3I's Web3 partners include Animoca Brands, Griffin Gaming Partners, and Amazon Web Services. 
  • Razer's director of blockchain, Lawrence Lin, said the fund would also pave the way for mass adoption of Web3 within the gaming industry.
  • Lin added that the gaming experience is the most important part of a game for a successful launch.
