Real estate development and investment company Buckingham

 

Real estate development and investment company Buckingham appointed Benjamin J. Young as its Chief Investment Officer.  

He will be responsible for expanding Buckingham's institutional fund management platform. 

  • Young will lead the company's asset management and investment division and leverage the company's expertise to build the platform. 
  • He is joining Buckingham from Blackrock, where he served as the Managing Director for nine years and was responsible for the growth and management of $11B in investments. 
  • Young started his career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and held senior positions at Strategic Value Partners, and Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust, 
  • The founder and CEO of Buckingham, Bradley B. Chambers, said Young's investment expertise makes him uniquely qualified to strategically expand the company's investment business.
