TechTarget’s global 2023 “IT Priorities Survey” outlines the IT initiatives that have gained significant momentum in recent years and spending priorities among IT leaders. According
to the survey, cybersecurity and cloud have been cited as the top two
most important technology initiatives in North America.
- More
than 1,600 global tech professionals were interviewed for the survey,
roughly half of which work for North American companies.
- 63%
of respondents cited cybersecurity as an IT initiative that has grown
in importance over the past two years, while 49% said the same about the
cloud.
- The
IT professionals surveyed by TechTarget ranked cloud
management/migration as the No. 2 technology investment that would
likely involve a managed service or third-party provider.
- The
survey found that 50% of respondents expect their tech budget to
increase in 2023, but these results vary based on global region.
