Wingstop hires 72andSunny

 

Wingstop has announced that 72andSunny will serve as its creative agency of record. Wingstop hopes this partnership will help the brand achieve its $2M average unit volume goal. 

  • Wingstop has seen its business change considerably during the pandemic. The company benefited from a rise in delivery and takeout ordering during the pandemic, which has continued to dominate consumer preferences. 
  • Last year, Wingstop had $1.7B in digital sales. 30% of all sales were delivery, and its digital mix was above 60%.
  • 72andSunny replaces Leo Burnett Chicago, under whom Wingstop built numerous partnerings with platforms such as Uber Eats. 
  • The announcement comes a few weeks before the company will report earnings on May 3.
