YouTube said its new NFL Sunday Ticket package will cost between $249 and $489 for the upcoming season.
The NFL previously chose Google’s YouTube TV over Apple and Amazon to host the football package starting in 2023-24.
- In a blog post today, YouTube said it will offer a Sunday Ticket presale price of $249 for subscribers of its YouTube TV basic video-service plan.
- The base price will rise to $349 after the promotional period ends on June 6.
- For non-TV subscribers, YouTube is charging $349 for the base package during the presale and $449 after it ends.
- A Sunday Ticket and NFL Redzone bundle retails at $489 for the season.
- In December, YouTube won the right to broadcast the Sunday Ticket games, paying around $2B a season over seven years.
- The Sunday Ticket had been a DirecTV exclusive in the U.S. since 1994. DirecTV charged $294 for last season's base package.
