EBay is investing an undisclosed sum in SidelineSwap. The startup was founded in 2015 and runs a peer-to-peer resale platform focused on sporting goods. The SidelineSwap Trade-in Platform includes online and in-store trade-in options. The company has trade-in partnerships with several retailers, including Dick's Sporting Goods. Dick's Sporting Goods will run 200 trade-in events in partnership with SidelineSwap at select stores in the first half of 2023. eBay'sinvestment in SidelineSwap joins investments by FJ Labs and Dick's Sporting Goods' investment fund DSG Ventures.
