Klarna redesigns its app

 


Klarna has redesigned its app to feature a personalized AI-powered shopping feed. 

The app has also added a new resell feature and a personal shopper service called Ask Klarna.

Klarna's in-house AI engine powers the shopping feed and provides users with a highly personalized product feed. Klarna had previously partnered with Open-AI.

  • The updated app also features other tools, such as a self-service advertising platform, that creators can utilize to share shoppable content. 
  • The new update attempts to attract more consumers directly to the Klarna app as the company moves into the retail media market. 
  • Klarna's gross merchandise volume in the U.S. was up 77% last year.
