This year's Annecy International Animation Film Festival will broaden its reach and feature more content from major streamers and film studios than ever before. This year's festival -- running June 11-17 in France -- could have as many as 13,000 attendees, setting a new record. Disney is planning a special screening of "Fantasia 2000" at the fest, along with a preview of the upcoming film "Wish." - WB Discovery, meanwhile, will provide an early glimpse at the upcoming animated features "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim" and "Batman Azteca."
- Netflix will host the world premiere of the graphic novel adaptation "Nimona," which it acquired from Blue Sky following Disney's acquisition of Fox assets.
- Paramount is bringing the nearly-finished film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem."
