"Beanie Bubble" trailer

 

Apple released a trailer for "The Beanie Bubble," an upcoming comedy-drama film inspired by the Beanie Babies collector craze of the 1990s.  Zach Galifianakis stars as Ty Warner, a frustrated toy salesman who develops the Beanie Babies concept along with three female colleagues, then claims all the credit for himself. Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook, and Geraldine Viswanathan co-star. The film is the directorial debut of married couple Kristin Gore and Damian Kulash, Jr.; Gore, a veteran of "Saturday Night Live" and "Futurama," also wrote the script. Apple plans to open the film in select theaters on July 21 before it comes to the TV+ platform on July 28.
