Fox sends Carlson a C&D

Fox News sent former anchor Tucker Carlson a cease and desist letter, demanding that he stop posting his new commentary series on Twitter.

Despite the network's decision to pull his show, Carlson remains under contract with Fox News through the end of the year.

Harmeet Dhillon, an attorney representing Carlson, said in a statement that "Fox News continues to ignore the interests of its viewers, not to mention its shareholder obligations."

  • Fox News declined to comment.
  • According to Carlson's executive producer, the host plans to release a third episode to Twitter on Tuesday, focused on the federal indictment of former President Donald Trump.
