Patagonia sued Nordstrom on Tuesday.

 

Patagonia sued Nordstrom on Tuesday.  The suit alleged that Nordstrom's Rack stores sold counterfeit Patagonia clothing items. Patagonia stopped selling through Nordstrom in 2023, the same year it allegedly discovered the fake clothing. Patagonia accused Nordstrom of "counterfeiting, trademark infringement, unfair competition, dilution, and copyright infringement." Nordstrom allegedly ignored Patagonia's request for them to pull the items in question. Patagonia sued Gap in November for alleged trademark violations related to its fleece pullovers.
