Shipping giant Maersk ordered 25 Volvo FH electric trucks for its operations in Germany, with the addition of 23 vehicles in Q1 2024. This adds to a previous Maersk order of 126 Volvo VNR electric vehicles for use in the U.S. "We see rising demand from our customers for cleaner end-to-end transportation solutions with minimal greenhouse gas emissions," said Jens-Ole Krenzien, Maerk's managing director for Northern Europe.
