Steve Oblak will retire as Wayfair's chief commercial officer

 

Steve Oblak will retire as Wayfair's chief commercial officer.  Wayfair's revenue grew from $250M to $12B during his time at the company. Oblak worked at Wayfair for 14 years. He will be succeeded by Jon Blotner, Wayfair's current vice president of global merchandising, proprietary brands, and advertising and media. Blotner has almost 20 years of experience in expanding retail businesses. Wayfair's Q1 net revenue fell 7.3% YoY to $2.8B. CEO Niraj Shah expects the firm to reach EBITDA profitability in Q2.
