The U.S. National Football League (NFL)

 

The U.S. National Football League (NFL) continues to voice its support for the LGBTQ+ community with its first-ever Pride merch collection.  The league partnered with LGBTQ+ fashion designer Humberto Leon to launch the collection.  The collection is available on NFLshop.com and features apparel, hats, decals, towels, and more sporting messages like "Football is love" and "Property of Pride Department, and rainbow-themed versions of football team merchandise.  The NFL made it clear that it has no plans to retreat its public LGBTQ+ support, despite some big brands withdrawing their support amid criticism and boycott threats from some right-wing groups and others.  The league's LGBTQ+ employee resource group, NFL Pride, plans to march in upcoming Pride parades in NY, NJ, and LA wearing items from the new Pride merch collection.
