Porsche delivered 18,895 cars in the U.S. during Q2, constituting a 3% YoY drop.

The automaker, however, is up 12% in year-to-date sales with 36,335 units.

Porsche sold 1,635 Taycan units in Q2, representing a 35% YoY decline. This marks the sixth consecutive quarterly year-over-year drop for the model.

  • In 2022, Taycan sales amounted to 7,271 in the U.S., comprising 10.4% of its total sales.
  • The automaker sees an increase in supply as the answer to improving its sales numbers; however, despite the easing of the supply chain, the Taycan became ineligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit this year.
