The London South tribunal ruled that Asda supermarket mishandled the grievance of a male worker, C Goh, who was kneed in the backside by a female colleague. The tribunal found that he was a victim of direct discrimination. Despite Goh's numerous attempts to have his complaint addressed, the tribunal said the supermarket had failed to take the workplace assaults seriously, delayed investigations, failed to interview key witnesses, and mismanaged the grievance and appeal process.
