According to a report by Forrester, a third of Americans buy goods on computers because they believe it is easier than through their smartphones.  23% said smartphone screens are too small for shopping. Mobile shopping represented 61% of overall online sales on Christmas. In response to that trend, e-retailers have improved the mobile experience. Etsy recently introduced a visual image search where consumers can photograph or upload an image and look for it in the retailer's marketplace. Amazon also launched the Inspire feature, where shoppers can view video and photo content of new products.
