Boston-based Electra Vehicles, a tech startup specializing in cloud-based software tools for EVs, has raised a $21M funding round led by Italian VC United Ventures.
With these fresh funds, Electra Vehicles plans to expand its presence to European markets and open a new office in Turin, Italy.
Electra Vehicles was founded in 2015 by Fabrizio Martini, an energy storage expert who developed a special battery system for a NASA spacecraft.
