- The cloud database service is said to have automated backup, data recovery, and on-demand scaling capabilities.
- The FedRAMP Moderate Authorization means that MongoDB Atlas for Government meets the federal standard for cloud computing security to handle controlled, unclassified information across federal government agencies.
- The new FedRAMP designation enables over 7,500 government organizations on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to access MongoDB Atlas for Government.
- MongoDB Atlas for Government currently supports U.S. East and U.S. West AWS cloud regions.
