Glossier has announced that the company is revamping its executive team as it looks to grow in both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels.
The company, which previously focused on direct-to-consumer sales, first entered the retail space last year when it signed a deal with Sephora to have its products sold online and at 600 physical locations in Canada and the United States.
The change is being marketed as helping to position the brand to take advantage of market opportunities and includes a new chief commercial officer, chief marketing officer, and chief creative director.
- Chitra Balireddi, previously of Chanel and Boston Consulting Group, has been named chief commercial officer.
- Kleo Mack, the company's current VP of brand who was previously at L'Oreal, has been named the new chief marketing officer.
- Marie Suter, who has been with Glossier for five years, was promoted to chief creative director.
