U.S. drugstore chain Rite Aid has lost its chief retail officer.
The company provided no reason for the decision, which came after CEO Heyward Donigan left Rite Aid two months ago.
Andre Persaud has left his position as Rite Aid's chief retail officer.
- He was promoted to the role in May 2021 after joining Rite Aid in 2020.
- Persaud's responsibilities will be temporarily taken over by Bill Miller, the company's senior VP of central retail operations.
- Rite Aid board member Elizabeth ("Busy") Burr is currently serving as the company's interim CEO following the departure of Donigan in December.
- The company announced a Q3 net loss of $67.1M in December.
