the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) launched its first 9Ds Wellness Fest in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center.
The
festival aimed to educate students on the nine dimensions of wellness
and how different UTA departments can help students achieve and maintain
their health and wellness goals.
- The
festival covered dimensions such as intellectual wellness, physical
wellness, professional wellness, sexual wellness, and social wellness.
- Campus
partners were featured, including the Office of International Education
to advance cultural wellness, the Counseling and Psychological Services
encouraging emotional health, and the Student Money Management Center
and Maverick Pantry committing to fostering financial wellness.
- Interactive
booths included a spin-the-bottle game from RVSP, a Jenga game from
Financial Services, and a station to measure blood pressure and glucose
levels.
- Attendees found the event informational and engaging.
