A recent survey conducted by the crypto data website CoinGecko revealed that a substantial portion of NFT holders own more than 51 NFTs.

 

A recent survey conducted by the crypto data website CoinGecko revealed that a substantial portion of NFT holders own more than 51 NFTs.  In the poll, 26.5% of respondents reported ownership of 51 NFTs or more.  CoinGecko analyzed 438 responses collected between December 2022 and January 2023 in collaboration with Blockchain Research Lab for the survey.  17.6% of participants said they have between two and five NFTs.  Only 4.8% of respondents stated that they hold just one NFT. 38.8% said they bought their first NFT in 2021, while 25% entered the market last year. 2017, the year the famous CryptoPunks NFTs launched, was the entrance year only for a 2.9% portion.  The survey report concluded that people rarely stop buying NFTs after their first one.
