California-based startup Kubiya has debuted the Kubiya Tool, a DevOps virtual assistant for cloud operations designed to facilitate tasks for DevOps engineers.
The
company dubs itself “ChatGPT for DevOps” and claims its new offering
can generate any operational workflow while leveraging large language
models (LLMs).
- Kubiya
is used with various collaboration tools, including Slack and Teams,
and purports to support infrastructure management and other operational
processes.
- The
tool purports to enable simple user commands that can provision
resources, and trigger continuous integration/continuous development
jobs, Kubernetes deployments, cloud cost usage reports, and other
functions.
- The
virtual assistant can accurately infer content and respond with the
appropriate actions directly from Slack. It also provides opportunities
for feedback to learn and improve its performance in real-time.
- The
fusion between generative AI for DevOps and CloudOps is a relatively
new phenomenon gaining traction among cloud giants like AWS, Google
Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
