Microsoft has started rolling out Bing's ChatGPT AI to users of its SwiftKey keyboard for Android.
The launch lets users access the Bing chatbot directly within the intelligent keyboard.
- In
addition to the chat mode, the Bing Chat AI within SwiftKey includes a
"tone mode" that can automatically rewrite texts in professional,
casual, police, and social media modes.
- To use both features, users click on a "Bing" button on the keyboard's left-side top row.
- Users need the beta version of SwiftKey. The Bing AI rollout is not available for SwiftKey iOS.
- According to The Verge, some keyboards with ChatGPT integration have already appeared for iOS, such as ParagraphAI's writing app and keyboard.
- SwiftKey is also available for Chrome, Gmail, Facebook, and other third-party Android apps.
- Microsoft previously released the OpenAI-powered chatbot in its Bing, Edge, and Skype mobile apps.
