Nordstrom taps new CTO

 

Nordstrom hired Jason Morris as its new chief technology and information officer.  Morris said he would help the firm improve its use of digital capabilities to serve its customers. Morris previously served as Walmart's senior vice president of enterprise business services.  He will manage Nordstrom's technology operations, including engineering and data science, and analytics.  He takes the new role as Nordstrom advances its Closer to You marketing strategy. The strategy aims to provide services for customers in their neighborhoods, including order pickup and returns.
