Seaworld Entertainment has named Marisa Thalberg as its new chief marketing offer.
She will begin in her new role on Monday, April 24.

- Seaworld has suffered from a poor brand image since the release of the 2013 documentary "Blackfish."
- The company is transitioning from theme park to conservation, and Thalberg will be responsible for communicating that message.
- Thalberg
worked at Taco Bell from 2015 to 2019 before moving to Lowe's in 2020
and leaving in Sept. 2022 during a company reorganization.
