Six Dick Wolf shows renewed

 

"Law & Order: SVU" NBC renewed six different shows from mega-producer Dick Wolf for new seasons.   That includes all three current series from both the "Law & Order" and "One Chicago" franchises. This will bring "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" to a total of 25 seasons, 2 more than the franchise's flagship show, "Law & Order," which was off the air for around a decade before returning. The original "Law & Order" series will air its 500th episode this coming season. This will also mark the 12th season for "Chicago Fire," 11th for "Chicago PD," and ninth for "Chicago Med." Including just these shows alone, Wolf will have produced more than 84 seasons of television for NBC; if you include canceled series, the total rises to over 100 seasons.
