Chipotle targets the gaming community in its latest ad campaign

 

Chipotle Mexican Grill is targeting the gaming community in its latest marketing campaign.  

The U.S. fast-casual restaurant chain is launching its new campaign in partnership with Capcom's Street Fighter 6, an upcoming fighting video game set to release on June 2. 

  • Chipotle's marketing campaign offers a promo code, "HDKN236," that customers can use via the Chipotle app to redeem 250 fighter coins at checkout. 
  • The partnership also features in-game integrations like Chipotle Daily Brackets, Battle Hub Signage, and Chipotle-branded avatars. 
  • The tie-up also makes Chipotle the first restaurant brand to offer free food as a type of viewer reward on Twitch, with the opportunity for Street Fighter 6 streamers to win a free order of guac and chips. 
  • The restaurant chain is further positioning itself in the gaming world by serving as the parenting sponsor of the 2023 Evolution Championship Series and a sponsor of PlayStation media advertiser Combo Breaker.
