Five actors joined the cast of Paramount+'s "Sonic the Hedgehog" spinoff series "Knuckles." Christopher Lloyd, Stockard Channing, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and Cary Elwes all joined the cast of the live-action action-comedy series, based on the popular video games and their recent film adaptations. Idris Elba will reprise the voice role of Knuckles from the film "Sonic the Hedgehog 2." - Adam Pally will also reprise his live-action role from the "Sonic" movies, while Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi and Ellie Taylor round out the human cast.
- The show takes place between the events of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" and a third film, which is set to hit theaters in December 2024.
- "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" screenwriter John Whittington wrote the "Knuckles" pilot and will serve as head writer on the series.
