California-based data management software provider Komprise has raised a $37M Series D funding round, bringing its total raised to $85M.

The company also unveiled Komprise Analysis, a new SaaS solution that provides insight into an enterprise’s unstructured data across on-premises and cloud enterprise IT infrastructure.

  • Komprise Analysis provides an overview of an enterprise’s file and object storage and generates a unified view of data usage. Having this critical visibility helps enterprises identify the areas where they may be overprovisioning resources so that they can make the necessary changes to reduce their cloud spend.
  • Komprise says its new solution scans file systems and cloud object stores without interfering with storage performance.
  • The solution is said to be able to handle all file and object sizes as it does not open files or objects or files to read the data stored within them, saving users a significant amount of time.
  • The analyses yielded actionable insights into the health of storage infrastructure, file systems, and network issues.
