Online beauty retailer Grove Collaborative plans to launch a health and wellness hub. The company will target sustainability-conscious consumers by paying close attention to the ingredient quality and transparency of its new products.

  • Grove Collaborative will begin selling health and wellness through a new space on its D2C website.
  • The decision was made after the firm discovered that "75% of our customers are currently buying wellness products, and 89% of them trust Grove more than other brands," said CEO Stuart Landesberg.
  • Grove Collaborative recruited members of its private Facebook group to help it develop the new product categories.
  • The company is expanding beyond its D2C channel by selling products at Walmart and CVS stores and through Amazon.
