Luxury furniture brand Coco Republic will open a U.S. e-commerce site in May.

The company will build the platform on the system architecture of Storis, a software firm that provides solutions to furniture, bedding, and appliance retailers.

  • Coco Republic has operated an e-commerce business in Australia and New Zealand for 10 years.
  • The company currently has a physical store in San Francisco and a promotional site that lacks e-commerce capabilities.
  • CEO Skye Westcott told Chain Store Age that its U.S. e-commerce site is intended to let "the customer shop where and when they want."
  • Coco Republic will use BigCommerce as its online architecture.
  • Salsify will be used to build the company's product information management (PIM) and digital asset management (DAM) platform.
