VMware has added several updates to its VMware Tanzu and VMware Aria platforms

 

VMware has added several updates to its VMware Tanzu and VMware Aria platforms to help customers achieve innovation and optimization in their application delivery across multiple clouds.

 These new capabilities include a more extensive developer toolset, enhanced security, expanded support for third-party integrations, and more. 

VMware Tanzu is a modular, cloud-native application platform that accelerates development, delivery, and operations across multiple clouds. 

  • The latest 1.5 version of VMware Tanzu contains more secure, customizable paths to production, enhanced end-to-end app security, and expanded support for third-party integrations such as AWS QuickStart and Microsoft Azure. 
  • VMware has also introduced new features for Kubernetes, including added support for full lifecycle management of new and existing AWS EKS clusters. 
  • VMware Aria is a cloud management system that unifies applications, infrastructure, and services in private, public, and hybrid clouds. 
  • Newly added features to Aria include Aria Hub powered by Aria Graph, Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth, and Aria Guardrails, which provide intelligent insights and enable optimized cost, performance, and security tailored to specific business needs.
