Women-led VC fund 20SALES has raised a $5M inaugural fund for investments in early-stage B2B SaaS companies. The fund plans to write checks of $100,000+ to B2B-focused pre-seed, seed, and Series A companies. 20SALES is an extension of the venture firm 20VC but is a separate entity. - The group has ambitions to invest in at least 50 companies over the next two years.
- The VC is also looking to back women-owned or run companies, given that female entrepreneurs typically receive less than 3% of all VC funds annually. However, the group has made it clear that it does not exclusively back such companies but that it is its priority.
- Its website features a series of podcast episodes with tips and insights for entrepreneurs.
